Ezer Lab

Environment + genetics + stochasticity + time

Our lab investigates how plants sense their environment on a minute-by-minute, hour-by-hour, and season-by-season basis and integrate this information to make developmental decisions, like deciding when to flower. We are also interested in why genetically similar plants grown in near-identical conditions will still grow and develop at different rates, leading to physiological variation.
