Environment + genetics + stochasticity + time
Our lab investigates how plants sense their environment on a minute-by-minute, hour-by-hour, and season-by-season basis and integrate this information to make developmental decisions, like deciding when to flower. We are also interested in why genetically similar plants grown in near-identical conditions will still grow and develop at different rates, leading to physiological variation.

Our Research
Here is our latest research. Stay tuned for soon-to-be released projects related to single plant-omics, developmental instability, response to photoperiod, and responses to natural sunrises.
Our Resources
We like to have our data and code easily accessible and open access. We believe that science should be reproducible and easily extendible, and we try to follow FAIR guidelines.
